Coaches get additional tools to manage students, organize curriculum, and run their academy digitally. It is available on desktop and mobile through your browser. No app download is required.

Yes. BJJ Combos has a free tier that is always available with no credit card required. Free accounts include limited usage across the core tools and the ability to purchase individual training videos. Free will always be an option on BJJ Combos.

Premium unlocks the full platform for $20 a month. You get unlimited combos, systems, gameplans, vocabulary, complete access to all training videos, and every feature across every module. There are no contracts and no annual commitments. Cancel anytime.

We priced Premium at a level that is low enough for most grapplers to justify, even during stretches where life gets in the way of training. Monthly billing keeps things flexible so you are never locked into something you are not using. We believe in transparent, honest pricing and $20 a month reflects the real value the platform delivers.

Yes. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees. Cancel anytime from your account settings and your subscription will not renew at the next billing cycle.

Your account and all your data are preserved. You will revert to the free tier limits but nothing is deleted. You can upgrade again at any time and pick up right where you left off.

No. The free tier is free and Premium is $20 a month, flat. The only additional cost is individual video purchases at $2.99 each, which are completely optional.
Training Videos

BJJ Combos includes a growing library of instructional training videos available directly inside the app. Free accounts can purchase individual videos at $2.99 each. Premium members get complete access to all videos included with their subscription. Videos are organized and accessible whenever you need them.

Nothing. Videos you purchased individually are yours forever with a perpetual license. Your subscription status has no impact on individually purchased videos. Buy a video once and own it for life.

Yes. Individual videos are available to any account, free or Premium, at $2.99 each. Your purchase is permanent and is not tied to any subscription.

New content is added to the video library on a regular basis. Premium members get access to all new videos as they are added at no additional cost.

The Combo Builder lets you chain techniques from your moves library into sequences and flows. Build your offensive and defensive combinations, visualize how your attacks connect, and document the game that works for you.

A System is your complete game from a given position, mapping every option, transition, and response you have. A Gameplan is a match-specific strategy that maps out your path from the start of a competition to the finish. Systems are about mastering positions. Gameplans are about winning matches.

The Mental Training module gives you structured tools to develop the psychological side of your game. Work through exercises covering goal setting, visualization, self-assessment, and competition readiness. The mental game is often what separates good grapplers from great ones and BJJ Combos gives you a dedicated space to develop it.

The Training Journal lets you log every session and build a long-term record of your development as a grappler. Track what you drilled, what you rolled, what clicked, and what needs more work. Reviewing your journal regularly helps you identify patterns, stay accountable, and measure real progress over time.

Badges are earned by reaching milestones across every module on the platform. They come in multiple rarity tiers and are displayed on your profile. The badge system is designed to keep you motivated and reward consistent use of the platform.
Coaches and Academies

Yes. BJJ Combos includes a dedicated coach and academy experience with tools for student management, curriculum organization, instructor management, and academy profiles. Coaches also retain full access to all student-facing tools for their own training.

There are two ways to join an academy. Coaches can send invites to their students through the platform. Students can also request to join an academy by going to edit profile and selecting an academy from the academy drop down menu.

Yes. BJJ Combos includes instructor management tools that let head coaches manage their coaching staff within the platform.

Not at this time. Academy and coach tools are available through the standard Premium subscription at $20 a month.
